In the past decades, with the decline of the Grand Narratives and the subsequent need for new historical and political orientation, literary studies have been reflecting on the role of literature in the world. Together with Jacques Rancière—and in dialogue with Althusser, Foucault, or Fischer-Lichte—the present volume analyzes this political turn of literary studies.

Este es el segundo volumen de mi investigación sobre las novelas de la dictadura y la postdictadura chilena. Si el objetivo del primero fue constituir y mapear un corpus de ciento setenta y nueve novelas y seleccionar un canon de treinta y cuatro, el de éste ha sido poner a disposición de los lectores quince ensayos que se centran cada uno de ellos en una de las piezas del canon propuesto.
