La investigación gira en torno a los cuatro autores más significantes de este período y concluye la existencia del paradigma común del desengaño ante las limitaciones de la democracia española surgida después de cuatro décadas de brutal dictadura, a la vez que explora la compleja interacción entre ciertas premisas básicas posmodernas y los textos literarios ofrecidos.
