Architectural guide to the city of Guadalajara, with a selection of close to 300 buildings representative of all time periods. The guide is divided in 3 sections: the first, the largest and medullar part of the book is the presentation of the buildings; a second section is an inventory of buildings important in the history of the city but now disappeared, and a third section includes location maps with recommended itineraries and routes. Each entry includes the name, date and brief history of the building and the name of the architect.

Obra de estudio y consulta que desarrolla una tesis sobre el concepto urbanístico de Le Corbusier. La evolución de la ciudad desde su subsuelo y la teoría sobre el modelo de urbe moderna, la inclusión o la interdependencia entre urbanismo y geografía, y un variado número de ejemplos de planes, estudios y proyectos, realizados por el maestro suizo entre 1925 y 1958 en diversas ciudades del mundo, son algunos de los contenidos de este libro, de gran utilidad académica para profundizar en otro de los aspectos dignos de estudio en la obra de Le Corbusier.

This series explores architecture; furniture; and interior, graphic, and industrial design with the intention of reflecting the wealth and diversity found in the extensive panorama of contemporary design. Featured designers are chosen on the basis of their originality and their accomplishments. Each book starts with an introductory essay by a well-known critic or designer. The designers themselves stylize the presentation and decide what material will be included -- therefore presenting not only a reference text, but also exhibiting another aspect of the designer's creative vision.
