Este volumen estudia la pintura en la Escuela de Arte de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, reuniendo el trabajo de más de 100 artistas. Se enumeran exposiciones en las que participaron y distinciones obtenidas, información acompañada por imágenes de sus obras. También se incluyen siete capítulos que contienen investigaciones organizadas a partir de dos criterios: uno temporal y otro conceptual.
