Esta investigación tiene dos propósitos intercalados. El primero de ellos es ofrecer una nueva versión de la historia de la filosofía mexicana durante la Revolución, en particular, del pensamiento de Antonio Caso y de José Vasconcelos. El segundo propósito es entender el efecto que tuvo la revolución sobre la filosofía del periodo y el que ésta tuvo sobre aquélla.
