Pese a ello, la gran cantidad de texto conservada permite conocer con claridad las directrices ideológicas, intelectuales y estéticas del último gran proyecto seguntino, caracterizado por la particular impronta formal que este insuflaba a sus textos y por el seguimiento fiel de los modelos de autoridad, Montano sobre todo.
