Dabei wird eine Definition gegeben, was genau El Portuñol ist. Im Rahmen dessen werden auch die Gründe für die Entwicklung gegeben, ebenso wie die Situation an der Grenze zwischen Brasilien und Uruguay aufgezeigt werden.
