He perdido a mi familia, he escapado por los pelos de la muerte y he descubierto que los hombres lobo son algo más que un invento para asustar a los niños. Por eso he decidido escribir este diario, para demostrar que no estoy loco cuando los hombres de blanco vengan a ponerme la camisa de fuerza. Pero será mejor que empiece por el principio...

Tras el éxito de Lota y la casa patas arriba, Lota regresa otra vez a un mundo patas arriba. Su amiga, el hada Olive, le cuenta que el jardín se está muriendo debido a la presencia de un terrorífico Tufichirivípodo y le pide ayuda. El Tufichirivípodo es maléfico, y además crece con cada pensamiento malvado. Pero ¿quién es el responsable de que haya uno en el jardín? ¿Quién lo ha traído? ¿Será capaz Lota de destruir el Tufichirivípodo sin ser absorbida por su poder oscuro y acabar convertida para siempre en fantasma?
