Sinopsis del Libro

Antonio Pavía hace en este libro un homenaje a la fortaleza inquebrantable de la fe, basándose en la respuesta de Job frente a las adversidades, y propone el ejemplo de este personaje bíblico como modelo para el discípulo de Cristo. La elección de fidelidad de Job no es fácil y supone un arduo combate interior, que es una metáfora de la grandeza del hombre inspirado por la fe divina. Al igual que Job, que se resistió contra la banalidad del camino fácil, también el discípulo de Jesús debe, según el P. Pavía, enfrentarse con valentía a todo aquello que intenta confundirlo, permaneciendo firme en sus convicciones y siendo fiel a la palabra de Dios. Así, las tinieblas se convierten en un lugar privilegiado donde se gesta la verdadera fe que emana del corazón para enfrentarse a las duras pruebas de la existencia.
