Inventory of architectural patrimony and popular culture in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. The first part is devoted to architecture and monuments from Pre-Columbian , colonial, 19th and 20th century, with emphasis on Pre-Columbian cultures. Includes mural art and some information on archival holdings. The second half is devoted to folkart, crafts, local culinary history, folklore, fiestas at the village, town, city and state levels.

The articles are the result of the concerns of the authors around the utility of the buildings that make up the history of modern architecture in the country for the understanding of the problems of the contemporary city.
