Sinopsis del Libro

Cardiac imaging technique has produced a revolution in the diagnostic assessment and prognostic assessment of the cardiac patient. Echocardiography, MRIs, CT-scan techniques, and nuclear medicine procedures are the four basic pillars on which the field of cardiac image is based upon. New procedures in clinical practice has caused cardiologists to make an effort to incorporate this knowledge into their daily routine. This is why the Spanish Society of Cardiac Imaging (SEIC) has decided to coordinate an innovative project endorsed by the most important scientific societies in the area of cardiac imaging: the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI); the Italian Society of Cardiovascular Echography (SIEC); and the Association of Echocardiography and the Cardiovascular Imaging of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology (ECOSIAC). Through a number of practical clinical cases, they expose essential lines of cardiac diagnosis in different cardiac pathologies. The outcome is this unique book.
