En 1815 los vencedores de Napoleón se reúnen para poner fin a la página histórica iniciada en 1789 con el estallido de la Revolución Francesa. Sin embargo, la Restauración entendida como intento de restablecer el Antiguo Régimen, choca con la dinámica de transformación histórica representada por la Revolución.
