Las aventuras de Rompetechos de Francisco Ibáñez empezaron a publicarse en 1964, en la revista Tío Vivo de la editorial Bruguera. El presente volumen reúne la primera parte de todas las aventuras de este entrañable personaje, el más querido por su autor y el más popular junto a Mortadelo y Filemón y 13, rue del Percebe.

Un álbum ilustrado con dos historias en un mismo libro: se puede leer al derecho y al revés. Por un lado se cuenta la historia de Sara y por el otro lado la historia de Ulises. Sara y Ulises van de visita al Museo de Arte Moderno. A Sara el arte moderno no le convence. «Esos dibujos son más feos que los que pintamos en clase», piensa. Pero no se lo dice a Ulises porque sabe que no va a estar de acuerdo. Solo entonces se da cuenta de que Ulises no está. «¿Dónde se habrá metido ese oso desobediente?»
