En este volumen hemos querido hacer una antología que fuera representativa de la labor de Ana María Matute y que, al mismo tiempo, se adecuara a los intereses de los jóvenes estudiantes de secundaria. Para ellos también está pensado el apartado de «Actividades» que ocupa las páginas finales del libro.
