Las cruzadas fueron y son en la actualidad un motivo de reflexión para historiadores y políticos del panorama mundial, y en este libro se analizan con detenimiento todas las cruzadas realizadas desde Europa incluídas las penínsulares y destacar que desde hace más de treinta años no se había publicado un texto de un autor español sobre este apasionate tema.

Por mucho tiempo ha quedado la historia electoral latinoamericana prisionera de una leyenda negra seg n la cual la representaci n pol tica moderna fue fundamentalmente un fracaso.
