Los estudios de los últimos decenio han venido a corregir la imagen de los siglos posteriores al final del Imperio romano como tiempos oscuros y han desechado la percepción de este periodo en clave de retroceso y primitivismo.

Esta revista fue realizada clandestinamente por un colectivo de cristianas y cristianos que se asumía “en constante nacimiento”. En razón de su fe, el colectivo tuvo el coraje de arriesgar su propia vida para modular una voz política disidente. El primer número de la revista explicita que la “simple proclamación explícita de la verdad, asumir sus riesgos pero también su eficacia liberadora es la tarea de NO PODEMOS CALLAR”. Los integrantes de la publicación siguen siendo, en su inmensa mayoría, desconocidos hasta el día de hoy.
