When he wanders into the forest at night, Rubén is terrified by the ferocious animals he sees. He finds refuge in the underground house of a friendly rabbit who helps him face his fears and make his way back home.

This book talks about the work necessary to take care for a guinea pig, as well as some of their common behaviors. Readers will meet Miranda, who has a guinea pig name Griswold. Griswold was adopted from an animal shelter. He loves to dig around in his bedding and hide in his igloo. When Griswold gets excited, he likes to jump up and down in his cage and squeak.
