El libro presenta con motivo de los 30 años de la fundación del Colegio Colombo-Alemán en Lérida una recopilación de relatos históricos y experiencias de alumnos, profesores y directivos del colegio, así como también informes y alocuciones de sus benefactores. En aquel entonces a raíz de la catástrofe en la ciudad de Armero causada por la erupción del Volcán Nevado del Ruiz el 13 de noviembre de 1985, con fondos recolectados en Alemania se hizo posible la construcción y fundación del colegio.
