Derecho de las obtenciones vegetales

Sinopsis del Libro

La presente obra realiza un estudio exhaustivo del Derecho de las obtenciones vegetales establecido en el Convenio de la UPOV, así como en los ordenamientos de la Unión Europea y de España. El libro se divide en veinticinco capítulos, agrupados en siete grandes bloques temáticos referidos, sucesivamente, al sistema normativo, a los requisitos de protección de las variedades vegetales, al derecho a la protección y el procedimiento de registro, a los efectos de la protección, a las obtenciones vegetales como objeto de propiedad, a la nulidad y a la caducidad, y a la defensa del derecho de obtentor. La elaboración y edición de esta obra se enmarca en el Proyecto de investigación "DER2014-52241-P: Biotecnología vegetal y propiedad industrial", desarrollado en la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, financiado por el Gobierno de España (Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad) en el marco del Programa estatal de fomento de la investigación científica y técnica de excelencia, y del cual es investigador principal el Prof. Dr. Ángel García Vidal.
