Color Theory Book

Este libro es un diccionario de mitología clásica (griega y latina), pero su característica esencial es que realiza una historia de la recepción de cada figura mitológica en las artes plásticas, la música, la literatura y la cultura en general, constituyendo, por ello, mucho más que un simple diccionario de mitología.

Con este libro las Jornadas de Investigadores Pre-doctorales se consolidan al llegar a su tercera edición, tras las reuniones celebradas respectivamente en Daroca (2014) y Albarracín (2016). En esta ocasión han sido organizadas por el Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Universidad de Zaragoza en la Casa de Cultura de Gallur, los días 30 de noviembre y 1 de diciembre de 2018. This contrastive study analyzes the prefixation (notably the ablative type) of specific verb classes in Latin, Greek, Iberoromance languages (Spanish, Galician, and Catalan), and German. Based on the contrastive study of what is here labeled ‘preverbial systems’ and the interlingual comparison of prefixed verbs, it identifies the semantic and syntactic functions that can be attributed to these elements.

Number 13 of the series gets together 2 thesis submitted for the degree of the Masters in History and Theory of Art and Architecture, focused on the relationship between the political discourse and how Columbian art was critically interpreted in different epochs. Lleras examines the state involvement in art through the works of Carlos Correa and Pedro Nel Gómez amongst others while Jaramillo documents the plastic language used by Marco Ospina, Enrique Grau, and Alejandro Obregón amongst others who incorporated European avant-garde elements to become pioneer artists of modernism in Colombia.
