Sinopsis del Libro

La pasión por el béisbol trasciende las generaciones. Mi padre y mi abuelo muy probablemente tendrían a Clemente o Cepeda como los más grandes, ambos activos durante la década del 60. Otros quizás pensamos en los jugadores más destacados durante la década del 90 como Alomar o Rodríguez. Mis hijos muy probablemente hablarían de Molina o Lindor. Con este libro nos atrevemos a comparar la producción ofensiva de 17 jugadores de Puerto Rico activos o retirados del béisbol de las Grandes Ligas. Hacemos una profunda comparación estadística al utilizar datos tales como cuadrangulares, imparables, promedio de bateo, OBP, ‘slugging’ y participación en la postemporada, entre otros. Nos atrevemos a proyectar las carreras de jugadores que apenas comienzan, para compararlos con las de los jugadores ya retirados. Este libro sirve de referencia para seguidores de todas las edades del béisbol y de las proezas de atletas de Puerto Rico.
